WHY DO WE HAVE THREE DIVISIONS?
Over the years, we have identified many different niches in the catering world. Beginning with The Picnic Basket in 1998, we soon found that there were opportunities available in planning large and more sophisticated events…rentals, service staff, entertainment, venue rental, and bar services. The name “The Picnic Basket” just did not seem to represent that caliber of service, so we asked our clients to help us put a name on that division. Cravings Five Star Events was born and suddenly, we were asked to do large galas, grand openings, and events for a thousand guests or more. Go figure. In 2001, some friends from California introduced us to Santa Maria Barbeque. We fell in love with the simplicity and flavors of this unique Central Coast tradition. We integrated this idea into our Picnic Basket brand. For 3 years – it went nowhere. When we tagged it with the name Buffalo Gals Grilling Co., it assumed a new identity and now reigns as the most popular and lucrative brand of the bunch. You just never know what’s in a name.

We wanted to bring something new to Colorado Springs that has not been done before, and we decided to make that something boozy donuts!
